Play Groups provide the opportunity for babies, toddlers and young children to learn through play. Social-emotional learning is promoted by mothers’ presence and availability. With mothers as a secure base, children play independently, join group activities and interact with peers and the developmental play staff. Parents and the play staff work collaboratively to enrich each child’s experience. All play groups take place in well equipped playrooms with age appropriate materials and activities. Classic toys and basic materials are provided. These toys can be used in increasingly complex ways as the children develop.
