Mothers' Groups meet weekly at the same time children play. While observing and interacting with their children, mothers discuss parenting, development and their own observations and experiences. Achieving developmental milestones, parent-child interactions and life events that impact development and parenting are also discussed. Mothers' memories about their own childhoods are integrated with current information and observations.

Mothering, a process that is different at each phase, and varies for each child and each mother, can be enriched by following the development of children with trained professionals. Group discussion promotes the emergence of each mother's own parenting philosophy - an amalgamation of family lore, expert opinion and current parenting trends that integrates unique characteristics of her child and her own personal style, individual goals and childhood experiences.
